Even though Act doesn’t have much competition in the on-premise CRM market, it still maintains a very reasonable price. Starting at $25/per user per month, for the self-hosted version and $35 per user per month for the hosted version. There are a few add on options that can drive the price further but it tops out at around $55 per user per month at the highest version. However, most of our clients find the functionality they need for that starting price.
Cloud seems to be all the rage these days. But there’s something reassuring about having your own on-premise non-Cloud CRM. While Act is available in the cloud its strongest use is as an on-premise solution. This means the software and the data resides locally on your computers. When the internet goes down, your CRM doesn’t.
Having your data available offline is a huge selling point of the Act solution. There are industries and companies that can’t legally host their data online, and there are companies that simply don’t need that level of access. If all of your users work in the same office then this is often a better, less expensive option.
Act! Depth of Functionality
As mentioned, Act pioneered the CRM industry. Since it’s been around for 30 years it’s had plenty of time to develop its functionality. There’s very little you can’t do through Act directly and the things you can’t do directly, we can do with one of the 3000 add-ons available.
CRM Pro Partners also offers custom programming with Act. If there’s something you need this CRM to do, just ask. Our programmer has written dozens of add-ons to fit specific customer needs and all at a reasonable price.
Like any good CRM Act is fully customizable. We can modify the system to track anything and everything about your business. With Act! Plus you can even create your own custom modules/tables. This allows you to track data in Act like never before.
We’ve done this for insurance agents to track policy information, mortgage brokers to track loans, even forestry companies to track machines. there’s no end to the usefulness of Act’s customizability.
In the past, Act has won awards based on their ease of use. Act follows a simple structure, designed by actual users (not engineers). This means getting around the program makes sense to the people using it. Certain areas can be streamlined for even further ease, as we eliminate unnecessary screen elements.
