Even though Act doesn’t have much competition in the on-premise CRM market, it still maintains a very reasonable price. Starting at $25/per user per month, for the self-hosted version and $35 per user per month for the hosted version. There are a few add on options that can drive the price further but it tops out at around $55 per user per month at the highest version. However, most of our clients find the functionality they need for that starting price.
Cloud seems to be all the rage these days. But there’s something reassuring about having your own on-premise non-Cloud CRM. While Act is available in the cloud its strongest use is as an on-premise solution. This means the software and the data resides locally on your computers. When the internet goes down, your CRM doesn’t.
Having your data available offline is a huge selling point of the Act solution. There are industries and companies that can’t legally host their data online, and there are companies that simply don’t need that level of access. If all of your users work in the same office then this is often a better, less expensive option.
